Guided super-adult (60+) art-making workshop

In this 4 week program for seniors (age 60+), participants will explore personal narratives through the hands-on art processes of papermaking, printmaking and bookbinding.
We will look at examples of contemporary and modern art while thinking about our personal stories and respond through artmaking. Participants will learn how to make their handmade paper out of natural materials and create relief prints through the use of language and symbols. Each participant will hand bind their work into a one of a kind chapbook.
All materials will be provided.
Program schedule:
Tuesdays from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm starting on February 4th and ending on March 11th.
6 sessions on Tuesdays (11:30 am – 1:30 pm)
