uerto Ricans brought the Fiestas de Cruz to New York, where they found fertile ground and took root. Just as in Puerto Rico, in the great New York City metropolis these celebrations have evolved—from being intimate, family-centered events to becoming large public gatherings
Join us for live drumming, dance, and community connection in the heart of Loisaida, as we commemorate: El Grito de Lares and honor; Puerto Rican Freedom Fighter Filiberto Ojeda Ríos.
