A look at Artmakers’ 29 political murals created for La Plaza Cultural in 1985/86 through historical material (photographs, ephemera, and videos) and contemporary reflections (artist statements and related public programming).
In the second meeting, the dynamics will have a practice oriented approach. Participants of this workshop will engage in experiential exploration with individual and group proposals, encouraging dialogue between peers and the instructor. The workshop class will present the work methodology, as well as the norms and guidelines of operation for the work ordered within it. The teacher of the workshop will be in person during the whole course, guiding the students and giving shape to the contents worked in relation to the theory approached.
