Plenatorium Ensemble Workshops – Class #3
Part of Loisaida's Plenatorium project. Package includes: 4 Sessions, 1 Final presentation. Class Three will cover one (1) hour ensemble and one (1) hour of basic plena dance instruction.

Besides being a legend of Latin music, Johnny Colon founded the successful East Harlem School of Music in which he mentored other well-known musicians for decades. He is now housing his successful method of cognitive development through music theory at Loisaida Inc.
Students will learn:
• The methodology, techniques and procedures of water base screen-printing for printing.
t-shirts, posters and others on similar types of material;
• How to utilize all equipment, tools, and supplies to produce a quality screen-printed product.
• How to translate their ideas into images – specifically, students will be encouraged to
explore issues of immigrant identity, community, and difference.
