2024 Loisaida Center Holistic Wellness for older-adults
Loisaida, Inc. Center is proud to partner with the Loisaida Wellness Collective to expand our offerings for older-adults in 2024.
The wellness program will take place every 3rd Thursday of the month at the Loisaida Center (710 E 9th Street, New York, NY 10009), from 10AM to 1 PM (3 hours).

Loisaida Wellness Collective is a women-led grassroots group of acupuncturists, doctors, nutritionists, entrepreneurs, and healers who heeded the call for help in the LES during the COVID crisis of 2019. They now bring their services to Loisaida Center in order to foster health and healing in the LES and especially for our underserved older adult neighbors.
Some of the services provided include:
- Acupressure for stress relief and cravings
- Herbalism classes (identifying herbs, discussing folklore, discussing scientific research, and connecting intuitively with plants, making tinctures and other concoctions)
- Nutrition classes (looking at labels at the grocery store, food sensitivities, chemicals in our food, questions about supplements)
- Mind/body classes (meditation and other techniques)
- Health Consultations
- Much more!
