American Boricua Photography Exhibition Opening Reception

Loisaida Center welcomes you to the opening reception of the current photography exhibition, American Boricua.
American Boricua celebrates the Puerto Rican Diaspora throughout North America through the lens of photographer, Wanda Benvenutti.
Wanda Benvenutti is a freelance photojournalist, cultural worker, writer, model and proud Boricua with roots in Salinas, Puerto Rico. She is currently working on the compilation of her first book, American Boricua, the first visual history of the Puerto Rican diaspora in all 50 of the United States.
Join us on Tuesday, December 16th as we celebrate the opening. There will be light refreshments and a discussion on the importance of heritage and cultural preservation with:
