April 4: The exhibition at La Sala de Pepe y Foto Espacio showcases the evolution of the Latin dance music genre known as “salsa” as seen through the perspective of New York independent Latin record label Ansonia Records (5 ~ 8 PM).
Felipe Luciano Book Signing & Talk
April 30: Poet, community activist, journalist, media personality, and politician Felipe Luciano, well known for his significant involvement in both the Young Lords Party and The Last Poets, hosts a book reading, Q&A, and signing of his new book :”Flesh & Spirit: Confessions of a Young Lord,” at the Loisaida, Inc. Center (6PM).

Wellness Thursday for Older Adults
April 4, 25: Every 3rd Thursday of the month at the Loisaida Center (10 AM ~ 1 PM), the workshop provides Acupressure for stress relief and cravings, Herbalism classes, Nutrition classes, Mind/body classes, and Health Consultations.

April 5: Art Workshops, Zumba/Aerobics, Educational Panels, Live Music, Snacks, Coffee and more! Senior Day events take place every first Friday of the Month (10 AM ~ 1:30 PM).
