DESCRIPTION:Loisaida Inc. presents: \nPlenatorium Ensemble Workshops (Pandero\, Güiro & Plena Dance) \n\nRSVP:  \n\nPackage includes: 4 Sessions\, 1 Final presentation – 1pm\, Four Saturdays\, One Friday March 5 – March 26\, 2016. at Loisaida Inc. Center. Transgenerational (ages 15+)\, bilingual friendly (Spanish\, English) \n\nWorkshop schedule as follows: \n– Saturday\, March 5th: Class 1\none (1) hour of pandero instruction (basic seguidor\, punteador & requinto)\,\none (1) hour of güiro instruction (basic rhythm & technique)\nand one (1) hour of plena ensemble. \n– Saturday\, March 12th: Class 2\none (1) hour of pandero accompaniment instruction (seguidor\, punteador & requinto for ensemble)\,\none (1) hour of güiro accompaniment instruction (rhythm & technique for ensemble)\nand one (1) hour of plena ensemble. \n– Saturday\, March 19th: Class 3\none (1) hour ensemble and\none (1) hour of basic plena dance instruction \n– Friday\, March 25th: Class 4\ntwo (2) hours of ensamble and\ntwo (2) hours of plena dance instruction \n– Saturday\, March 26th: FINAL\nplena Dance/Social with live plena ensemble \n\n
