SUMMARY:What is a Virtual Power Plant? 2025 Ecolibrium Presentation & Meeting at Loisaida Center
DESCRIPTION:Join our Ecolibrium team at the Loisaida Center on (February 25\, 6 to 8 pm) for a presentation and visioning meeting that explores the transformation of our energy system from the old centralized static fossil-fueled electric grid\, to a responsive and participatory all-electric one serviced by distributed renewable energy resources (DER) and batteries. \nWe will present the concept of a community-scale “Virtual Power Plant” where solar and battery systems installed on buildings and in public spaces are coordinated and synchronized to behave as a single larger system.
