DESCRIPTION:Dear friends and art lovers\, \nGallery MUY\, based in San Cristobal de Las Casas\, Mexico\, is a cultural center for contemporary art by creators of Mayan and Zoque descent. It employs all media\, from painting\, sculpture\, and photography to performance and relational art in the indigenous communities of Chiapas. \n\n\nLa Sala de Pepe y Foto Espacio has exhibited and is working on projects with MUY represented photographer Sasaknichim (Margarita) Martinez Perez. MUY is also currently exhibiting five painters at the Kates-Ferri Project on Grand Street through March 29* \n\n\nMUY’s goal is to: \n\n\nBring a larger group exhibition to the U.S. in the near future.
