DESCRIPTION:Dennis Edge\, 85\, ‘The Birdman’ of Tompkins Square Park\, passed away on Sept. 1\, 2023. In memory of his work\, Art Loisaida Foundation\, City Parks & Recreation\, and Loisaida\, Inc. Center will host an exhibition of Dennis’ most beloved urban wildlife photographs of the birds he frequently documented living inside and around Tompkins Square Park. Ever felt too American for your Latine friends and too Latin for your American friends? Or maybe you feel like you do not belong because you’ve never set foot on your native land? If yes\, join us for an Applied Theatre workshop series exploring these questions and Latinidad culture with food\, music\, art and community.
